When I get to work, I have the SP4 flat on my desk to the left of my keyboard. I have the dock and 2 20 inch monitors, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc on my desk. I was most excited about the inking functionality, and I've finally come up with the workflow for me FWIW.

I've been using an SP4 as my primary workplace PC for nearly a year.
you can take screen clippings and have them auto import into OneNote.Other things I don't use but are pretty cool:.OneNote allows for so much flexibility so I would highly recommend playing with the layout to suit you. Mechanics, chemistry and bio are all section tabs, and then each lecture is a page or two each. An example for me is Year= 2016 Notebook. I personally use one notebook per year, section groups per primary subject, section tabs per topic and then pages for each lecture. I would play around with how you structure your notes.If your drawings are glitching out, try selecting the ink drawing, right-click and then 'Treat Selected Ink As' > Drawing.You can make your own custom "home" tab in the ribbon with all your most frequently-used tools by going to File > Options > Customise Ribbon and then hitting 'New Tab'.You can convert inking to text or equations by selecting the ink and right-clicking.There's also now a way to ink it in via the equation tab in equation mode There is an equation mode - hit Alt + and now anything you type will be converted into equation format.Once you make a pen in the Draw tab, you can save the pen as a 'favourite pen' by right-clicking and then hitting 'add to favourite pens'.I have the pens toolbar under the 'Draw' tab added so I have quick access to my inking pens and colours Add your most-commonly used functions as a toolbar shortcut by right-clicking/holding on a tool, and then hitting add to quick access toolbar.I use it for the 'Styles' feature, which allows you to apply templated formats to selected text (for example, I have a 'title' style which automatically boldens and underlines) Download an add-in called Onetastic, which allows all sorts of macros and little functions.Now, anything you write, pictures you take or documents you import will become indexed along with your text for search results In settings, make sure you enable the OneNote search indexing for inking and pictures as well as text.

Just a note, Windows 10 has an inking keyboard that does handwriting to text (tap the keyboard icon on the soft keyboard, then the inking keyboard button)

OneNote users will find comparable features within S Note even though Samsung's software is relatively basic.
